Abstract

The aim of this investigation is to analyze the behaviour of Slovene women of middle age when they buy clothes. The investigation is based on the treatment of 170 test subjects. 5 areas were investigated: where Slovene middle-aged women buy their clothes, how often they buy, how much they spend on their clothes, what factors affect the purchase of clothes and general statements on purchasing clothes. The results help to plan the marketing mix and to get to know the basic rules of the behaviour of middle-aged consumers in the area of the clothing industry.
